Penunggu…
My ‘kampung’ is in Kedah. Next to my grandpa’s house, there a small ‘jungle’. It has been left since long time ago. Rumour has it that there’s someone or rather ’something’ in staying in there.
I have a cousin brother staying near by my grandpa. He is one who loves to run around. One day he decided to explore the ‘jungle’. Out of so many hours of the day he picked 5 something in the evening. Older people believe that once the sun starts to set, those ‘things’ start to roam the Earth.
So into the ‘jungle’ he went. I don’t know where he find the guts to go into that place alone. He checked the place out for about 30 minutes and decided to leave the place since there’s nothing much to see. When he turned around to leave, he thought he saw something moving at the corner of his eyes. Not giving it much thought, he started walking out from the jungle but again, he saw black shadow moving. He looked around to see who or what that was but couldn’t see a single soul. He then get a shock of his life when he saw a pair of red eyes staring right at him. That ‘thing’ was at least 10ft tall with fiery red eyes and it was staring right at him. He then ran like he never run in his life, without looking back until he reach his house.
About 2 months before this incident, the people of that place did try to clear the little ‘jungle’ with a bulldozer. But everytime the bulldozer gets near to that place, the engine just seemed to die. One of the bulldozers blade even broke.
The ‘thing’ that my cousin saw, according to the Malays it is known as penunggu….
The Day Did Not Arrive Part 2
Looks like it’s time to go and find out. He drove his Cadillac and suddenly. . .(continued from part 1)
David heard a sound coming back from the house. What is that? Darn blasted, maybe he should just don’t bother about it.
The road was narrow and dark. If only he had a horse he could have gone through the meadow. Then suddenly…. a figure jumped right across the road and …
*WHACK* *WHACK*
The cadillac knocked into the figure and was going haywire and screeching to a halt at last when it knocked the tree.
*pant* “Help me~~ Help~~~”, David called out, his leg was trapped in the compartment of the car. In the middle of the night, he wasn’t sure anyone would even pass by that road. David breathed relentlessly, he realized something smells familiar, his blood dripping from his leg.
A cut was visible underneath that trapped leg, the blood dripping onto the car. David, not giving up hope, tried to reach to his cellphone at the backseat of his car. It proved futile, the cellphone was pushed to the furthest end of the seat and he can’t reached it.
*screeecchhhhhhh*
A sound was heard on the other side of the car. Screeching, like fingernails scratching thru metal.
“Oh my God, whatever it is, that thing is still alive!!” Horrified…. David let out a yell of urgency, calling out for help. Not a sound was heard when after he finished yelling, a faint whelp of a dog was heard. Then silence. Suddenly the car shook, “ARGHHHHHHH….” David yelled in pain due to the movement of the car on his injured leg. It cut into his leg more.
*eeek ekkk* Sounds was heard on the car roof top. Whatever it is it is definitely up there.

It’s now 8am in the morning August 20th 2008.. police have surrounded the area.
“Sergeant Colby, brief me about this!” demanded Sheriff Brad.
“Sir, it looks like the body of deceased David Almonia. We’re still trying to locate the head, and the blood on the body was gone.”
“What do you mean gone?”
“I meant they’re sucked dry. All gone, the only trace of blood we could sample was from the car, when the leg was trapped.”
“Oh boy, darn those withcrafts!!”
Sheriff Brad has got lotsa thinking to do. “Do a report for me sergeant and get it to me at once, search the parameter for more information as to what rammed into the car. I need answers”.
“Yes sir!!”
The Day Did Not Arrive
It all began at that dark and lonely night, it was David’s unforgettable night. It was the time he gets to meet Amy finally. The night was silent and the feeling of finally getting to meet her was unbearable.
Then he received a call.
“David, please hurry come to the hut”
“What’s going on? What happened?”
The line was cut. The whole romantic night was suddenly turned into a sense of urgency. Looks like it’s time to go and find out. He drove his Cadillac and suddenly. . .
The Way To Kajang
Heard the story from a friend studying in UniTEN (University Tenaga?)

The exam week is on-going. There was this guy who was staying in the university hostel, burning the midnight oil for the exam next day. With his room facing the corridor, he then heard a loud motorbike on the outside. Then the guy from the motor stopped and asked him for directions saying, “Bang, mana Kajang?” (Brother, where is Kajang?)
Without hesitation and in a blur state of mind, the guy pointed to the motorbiker the direction to Kajang. The guy on the bike then rode off his motorbike in an instant.
Finally though the guy in the hostel realized something. OMG~~ He’s staying at the 10th floor of the hostel.
My ratings : This one is simply classic. Sometimes it does happen that way.
Someone At The Door

I was very tired. It was about 1 or 2am in the early morning. So it was time to go straight to bed. Tired like hell, I slept with my face facing the wall and my back against the door.
Slowly going into my slumber mode, after about 15 minutes or so, I heard my door opened a little (the creaking of the door is easily heard when it’s at a quiet night, just in case my sister sneak in). Since my room floor was carpeted, I can hear someone walking in the room. So I am mighty sure someone came into the room, which I come to conclude must be my sister. Either she forgotten her stationery set or just want to get something from my desk.
So wanting to surprise her, I turned around and OMG…. to my horror I am facing a blank, half opened door. It was scary, I couldn’t move even if I wanted to as I was stiff frightened. Without thinking for awhile, I quickly pulled the blanket over me and went to sleep without thought.
A hole in head
Today’s entry comes all the way from Singapore. Regards, anonymous.
This was what happened. My friend went for military training in Thailand near a river, which I believed was the Chao Phraya. Respectively, his sergeant for the military camp does his jogging rounds everyday around 6pm.
One evening though, he never came back. So all army personnel were dispatched to locate the missing comrade. Following his usual route, they found him dead, lying face down in the river. Luckily though, my friend was not ordered to retrieve the body from the river. It would have shocked him.
For, those who actually went into the river saw the sergeants head with a hole which was 2 inches in diameater just above the neck. The brains were gone.
